1200 ton press brake

Our press brake with an impressive capacity of 1200 tons is ideal for bending heavy sheet metal. It allows us to shape even the most robust parts with precision.

Bormstaal is working hard on the installation of a new press brake, the machine is unique in the region. This press brake has a bending length of 7 meters and a pressing force of 1200 TON. Because the machine is made from one piece, it also makes it possible to press 1200 tons on 2 meters.

The distance of 6100mm between the columns means that plates of 6m with a large projection can be placed.

The machine has to go 3.2m into the ground and is therefore 9 meters high in total.
